Christian Education

A Christian Education program for all ages begins at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday, a time which fits in between the morning Eucharists. This scheduling allows families and individuals to choose which Eucharist they prefer to attend. Christian education is offered from the Sunday after Labor day through the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend.

At the 10:00 a.m. Eucharistic service, younger children (recommended age range is 3 to 7 although some older children enjoy joining us) are present in the Nave (the worship area of the church) until the Gospel is read. They are then led out by procession to a classroom for Children's Chapel and offered an age appropriate alternative to the Sunday sermon which affords them the chance to move around a bit as well! The children process back into the Nave at the Peace (just before the Eucharistic Prayer).
